Facebook Mark Zuckerberg kicked off his presentation of the new Android app Facebook Home today with an explanation why it doesn't make sense for the company to make its own smartphone. It boils down to this: Not including iPhones, even the most popular smartphones only sell about 10 to 20 million units.
